If you've been around SBS for a while, you know I am absolutely intrigued by Gas Masks. They represent so many contradicting things - safety, fear, eeriness, oddity, protection...
This piece was pieced together from a lot of supplies from a local military supply store. A US helmet shell, an Italian gas mask (pretty sure it's Italian), and gun shells. It's mounted on a burnt wooden base.
